Other than the mockery of the stupidity of treating dogs like Cabbage Patch kid dolls, I like how the brand brings you back to earth. I guess with this economy less people have the chance to pay $375 for their chihuahua to get a manicure… purses especially made for puppies as accessories were starting to become all too common.

Dogs want leftovers, TV and a trip to the dog park once in a while. That’s it.

Just out of curiosity I decided to make a quick and non-scientific study on what it takes to be one of the big-ballers on Youtube. I watched a few of the videos of the top ten “most subscribed to channels”, and frankly, I am a bit baffled that such material gets anywhere from 300,000 to 900,000 subscribers. I’m starting to sound like a hater, aren’t I?

Let’s talk about the top-of-the-cyber-world video producer: Fred.
Fred is a 15 year-old who has gained more followers than Disney’s Jonas Brothers (#5 on the list) and Miley Cyrus (#10) combined. His videos depict the messed-up life of a “6 year old” boy with a severe case of ADHD and a teeth-grinding “chipmunk” voice. I find the videos to be more irritating than having a strobe light flash directly into my eyes, and sitting next to a crying baby in a ten hour flight. Combined.
Impressive kid though. Not only does he have 872,404 subscribers, but also close to 30 million channel views. He has been invited to be in episodes of Nickelodeon and Disney shows. He has MERCHANDISE! Merchandise sold through HotTopic.com! Oh, and the best part? “Fred videos have generated six figures’ worth of income from ad revenue and sponsorship deals this year” (Source). Why didn’t I think of being this annoying before?
The trusty site Wikipedia points out that Fred is actually a parody of self-involved, egocentric people. Hate the game, not the playa.

I’m sure the other top 10 channels probably have some good videos around there somewhere, but I just can’t bear the bad ones anymore so I decided to stop searching. Enjoy this video instead!

Yesssss!!!!! So obvious! Researched and found airports and airlines have thought about it (some have implemented)but don’t want more expenses. Well, how about we make this simple. Samsonite and other luggage manufacturers should have RFID in the lining of the baggage which you can register online under your name after purchase.
Just 20 cents per bag, please let me assume the costs. And put one on my kid just in case…
